Vermiculite-perlite Gramoflor

Perlite is a volcanic glass with inert properties. It is added to soil substrates because it increases their airiness. Quality substrates already contain perlite and do not need to be added.

Its inert nature guarantees that this medium does not affect the nutrients in any way. However, unlike expanded clay, it does not provide sufficient support for plants, so it is not used as a stand-alone growing substrate.

Perlite dries out very quickly, so it needs to be watered more often. However, it works great as an admixture of traditional soil mixtures, as it contributes to their optimal airiness. High-quality soil substrates from Plagron, Canna, etc. already contain perlite and there is no need to add it.
