Prev-Gard - biological contact insecticide and acaricide, 30 ml

PrevGard is a biological contact insecticide and acaricide with efficacy against powdery mildew, fungal diseases, mites and rust . The orange essential oil contained in the product also acts on a wide range of pests (whiteflies, aphids, mealybugs, scale insects, spider mites, thrips, etc. at various stages of development, including adults). The product can be applied to plants until they are fully mature. Vegetables and fruits treated in this way can be consumed after washing.

We recommend repeating the application at least twice, one week apart. Since it is a contact spray, you will not hit all pests the first time.

The product can be used in the garden - vegetables, fruit, ornamental plants, but also indoors and in the greenhouse . The advantage is immediate effect, without a withdrawal period . It can be applied from the beginning of the appearance until harvest . There is no need to mix with a wetting agent.

It is also effective against powdery mildew, mold, some fungal diseases and rust on roses. It is used in relatively low concentrations ranging from 0.3% to a maximum of 0.8%.

Thanks to the zero withdrawal period, you can apply the product until the plants are fully mature. Vegetables and fruits treated in this way can be consumed immediately after washing.

How to apply?

Apply the product only when the crops are attacked. Apply it directly to the pests, we recommend spraying on the upper and lower sides of the leaves, including the stems. Orange essential oil has a contact effect on the pests, orange oil is not systemic. What does this mean?

- Orange oil dissolves the protective wax layer of pest bodies.
- Effective on adults and younger developmental stages, it causes drying of the waxy exoskeleton and loss of body fluid.
- In fungal diseases such as powdery mildew, mold, etc., PREV-GARD® penetrates and dries out the protective layers of mycelium, sporangia and spores, while also treating damaged plant cells.
