Whiteflies are among the Hemiptera, sucking insects. They are capable of causing significant damage and a decrease or loss of entire production. Whiteflies feed on leaves from which they suck the sap and cause a metabolic imbalance in the plant, thereby weakening it. The attack of whiteflies is first manifested on the leaves.
