NeemAzal - biological insecticidal preparation against sucking and chewing pests, 50 ml

NeemAzal is a spray-on biological insecticide from the extract of the tropical plant Azadirachta indica against sucking and eating pests such as aphids, whiteflies, thrips . It also works very well against mealybugs and mining pests, for example against tomato scale insects (Tuta absoluta). The dose is 3 ml per 0.5-1 l of water per 10 m2. Mode of action:

The active substance penetrates the leaves and is partly systematically distributed in the plant. The pest becomes contaminated by eating or sucking. NeemAzal®-T/S stops the feeding activity of the pests. Within a few hours after application of the product, the pests cease to be active and therefore do no further harm. The larvae react by inhibiting feeding and development and subsequent mortality. Adults (beetles) show feeding inhibition, infertility and to a lesser extent mortality. The criterion for evaluating the effectiveness is the size or number of feedings, leaf damage, honeydew production in sucking insects, and the development of the population density of the pests.

Active substance: azadirachtin 10.6 g/l

Dosage:

- potato (potato borer) 2.5 ml / 0.3 - 0.7 l of water / 10 m2 / OL 4 days (spray according to the signal for early stages of larvae - maximum 2 sprays at an interval of 7 days)
- spinach (eating and sucking insects) 3 ml / 0.6 - 0.8 l of water / 10 m2 / OL 7 days (spray on young larvae from the beginning of their appearance; maximum 3 sprays at an interval of 7 - 10 days)
- cabbage, kale (feeding and sucking insects) 3 ml / 0.5 - 0.8 l of water / 10 m2 / OL 3 days (spray on young larvae from the beginning of their appearance; maximum 3 sprays at an interval of 7 - 10 days)
- spice plants except chives (eating and sucking insects) 3 ml / 0.5 - 0.8 l of water / 10 m2 / OL 14 days (spray on young larvae from the beginning of their appearance; maximum 3 sprays at an interval of 7 - 10 days)
- pumpkin, cucumber, zucchini, eggplant, tomato (eating and sucking insects) 3 ml / 0.8 - 1 l of water / 10 m2 / OL 3 days (spray on young larvae from the beginning of their appearance; maximum 3 sprays at an interval of 7 - 10 days)
- ornamental plants (smutnica) 15 ml / 3 l of water / 1 m2 / OL 0 days (watering for young larvae from the beginning of their appearance; maximum 4 sprays at an interval of 7 - 14 days)

Specification of use:

Before treatment, check the sensitivity on a smaller number of plants or on a smaller area. The product must not reach surrounding plants! Pear trees are particularly sensitive. NeemAzal®-T/S should be applied at the beginning of the infestation or at the first visible signs of infestation.

Other restrictions:

Spray only when there is no wind or a slight breeze, downwind and away from other people. The risk posed by the product to the user is acceptable if the total time of work with the product does not exceed 30 min. during one day. Further work can only be carried out after the treated plants have dried thoroughly. Clogged sprayer nozzles must not be blown through with the mouth. Do not eat, drink or smoke during use and also after work, until protective clothing and protective equipment have been removed and thoroughly washed. Wash work clothing and protective equipment before further use, or thoroughly clean those that cannot be washed. Do not wear contact lenses when preparing the application liquid or when spraying.

Storage:

Store in undamaged packaging, in a dry and cool place (+10 to +20 °C), protect from direct sunlight, separate from food, drinks and feed, fertilizers, disinfectants and packaging from these substances. Shelf life 21 months from the date of production. The product must not be frozen.

Disposal of packaging and residues:

The rinsing liquid or the spray residue is diluted 1:5 with water and sprayed onto the treated crop without residue; groundwater sources and surface water recipients must not be affected. Used packaging is not to be used again. The product residue and used packaging are disposed of by handing it over to a collection yard.
