The most widespread and simplest hydroponic method is called Drip Feeding (capillary irrigation). The nutrient solution is distributed by a pump through the main hose into smaller tubes (capillaries) that end at individual plants. Depending on the chosen technique, the solution is either slowly dripped or sprayed over the entire surface of the flowerpot. Excess water flows either into a waste tank (Drip To Waste) or returns back to the nutrient solution tank (Recirculating Drip).
