Boveda
The Boveda system is a unique way to maintain constant humidity in a sealed container. It is a mixture of potassium citrate and acetate. When the ambient humidity is higher, it draws in water. When the ambient humidity is lower, it releases water.
The packaging is made of a unique material that works similarly to reverse osmosis . It can both absorb and release water molecules, while keeping salt in and impurities out. This is how Boveda products are able to perfectly hold and bi-directionally regulate constant humidity in a sealed container.
