1000W growth or flowering lamps are an ideal option for professional cultivation of plants under artificial lighting. HPS lamps are suitable for electromagnetic and electronic ballasts. MH lamps only for electronic ones. With all 1000W lamps, you should always expect higher consumption, which is compensated by high efficiency and the ability to illuminate a larger area. How to choose the right discharge lamp?

1000W lamps, "thousand-watt lamps", are popular with experienced growers who prefer quality and maximum satisfaction from their plants. Higher consumption and price are compensated by maximum PAR efficiency per Watt. All 1000W flower lamps have above-standard luminous flux (130,000 lumens and more) and can sufficiently illuminate 1 to 3 square meters. The growshop also offers 1000W growth metal halide lamps.

The most important parameter for successful plant growth is the PAR value. PAR is the photosynthetically active radiation, which shows the amount of light that can actually be used for photosynthesis per second. If you are not limited by price, give preference to lamps with a high PAR value.

How to use 1000W discharge lamps correctly?

Use only 1000W compatible electromagnetic or electronic ballasts, shades, sockets or other devices. Always allow the lamp to warm up for a few minutes. After it goes out, let it rest for a few minutes before turning it on again. The lamp is fragile, handle it with care.

When using fluorescent lamps, make sure to keep the correct distance from the tops of the plants to avoid burning them. Never touch the glass of the fluorescent lamp with bare or wet hands. Use gloves or a cloth. Moisture on the glass can cause damage to the fluorescent lamp after it is turned on. Protect your eyes from the light of the fluorescent lamp and never look directly into the light. Do not use cracked or otherwise damaged fluorescent lamps. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and instructions.

Do not touch the glass of the lamp during operation or immediately after switching off, there is a risk of severe burns. Dispose of used and damaged lamps in special containers for light bulbs.
